During our startup phase, Our City Inc. will rely solely on volunteers for operation. Volunteers will work closely with our working board to ensure our community is served, our mission and vision is accomplished, and programs are implemented.
Volunteer Opportunities Include (but arent' limited to):
Teach and Conducting Breaking Cycles Classes
Locating funders/donors and community partners
Becoming a Mentor for a young individual
Assist with Food Pantry and community feedings
Operate and the Blessing Boutique
Assist in coordinating fundraising events

Description
The Our City Inc. (OCI) is a 501(c) 3 organization which entails creating relationships with the community as a whole and bridging the gap from teenage, to young adult, and finally adulthood through mentorships, teaching, and locating community resources. OCI is currently in the startup phase and is working to provide services where our community lacks.
OCI is being established to provide mentoring for children, young adults, and their families. The program will create partnerships with local agencies and assist in a follow-up process to maintain the initial stability for the long-term. Programs include: case management and social services, mentoriship, and Breaking Cycles of Poverty Classes.
