Woodland, The City of Trees, is celebrating National Arbor Day with ceremonies followed by the planting of 100 trees throughout our downtown. Volunteers capable of wielding a shovel, and not afraid of a little mud, are invited to help with the celebration. Volunteers must be 18 years or older, or accompanied by an adult. Teams of three will fan out into downtown neighborhoods to dig holes, plant trees, install tree stakes and mulch trees.

Refreshments will be provided. Bring a shovel and gloves. Extra shovels may be available.
