It's mitzvah time! We are always looking for friendly people to visit our patients in their homes throughout Orange County. We are currently looking for Jewish volunteers to visit our Jewish patients and connect on a spiritual and/or cultural level.
Hospice patients are often lonely & isolated facing end of life issues. Salus Hospice is seeking people with big hearts and beautiful attitudes to visit with our patients. Are you the one that can brighten someones day? If yes is your answer, please join our team!
Availability for Shabbat or pre-Shabbat visits and visits on or around Jewish holidays is a major plus but not required.
*Please note, we accept volunteers of all faiths and backgrounds. Please respond to this ad or one of our others if you are interested in joining our team.
Volunteer opportunities located throughout Orange County, with a one-time training session required at our Irvine Office.
We will work with your schedule.
Requirements:
- fill out all necessary paperwork for your file including a copy of your driver's license and auto insurance
- attend a 4 hour training orientation
- complete a background check
- receive a TB test (unless you have had one in the past 6 months)
