Do you like to answer math or science questions?
Are you good at identifying the information a student might need to solve their own problem?
Do you have a background in teaching, tutoring, or a STEM field?
We are looking for community members to join our online forum, CK-12 Cafe, and help connect students with the information they need in math or science. You would respond to students’ questions by directing them to relevant information on our site or by helping them get started solving their own problem (without providing a complete answer).
CK-12 Cafe is meant to encourage CK-12 users to engage in exciting conversations. Users are invited to post questions, share viewpoints, offer multiple ways to solve problems, and share resources. Here are some examples of questions you might encounter:
How do I use the distributive property?
Why does the moon orbit the earth?
How much bacteria is inside you?
What is 55 divided by 29 multiplied by 6 then subtracted by 8?
If you have a passion for math or science and you can commit to checking CK-12 Cafe at least once every couple of days (preferably daily) then we would love to hear from you!
