We are seeking a volunteer to teach a Healthy Food Nutrition class weekly for a time period of forty-five minutes to an hour.
The volunteer must have a background with teaching Nutrition to the underseved and homeless population. We would love the volunteer to be able to provide samples or to share with residents the process of cooking healthy meals.
The population we serve are persons who were previously homeless and are now living in a transitional housing program. The majority of the clients have no income or a very limited income with the exception of a few person who work. They have very limited knowledge of finance.

Description
Antioch Urban Ministries Inc, d/b/a Matthew's Place is located within The Vilages of Castleberry Hills an upscale apartment community located within Metro Atlanta. Matthew's Place provides long-term transitional housing, facilitates substance abuse and comprehensive supportive services for persons living with chronic illnesses. Matthew's Place has the capability to house up to sixteen persons.
