This volunteer position requires someone with a professional, helpful and cheerful demeanor who articulates well over the phone, in person, and by email. Looking for someone with very good administrative organization skills. Volunteer hours will be scheduled with organization Board of Directors President and take place in Leland, North Carolina. Volunteer will assist with administrative organizing of paperwork for potential and existing volunteers, scheduling volunteers for upcoming support assistance for fall SuitUP^ event preperation and tasks during events.
Essential Functions take place at location in Leland, NC with President of Suiting Warriors:
- Organizes, coordinates, and manages the scheduling of volunteers for 3 upcoming events.
- Lite emailing admin support for volunteer applications, distributing volunteer handbook, and scheduling.
- Act as a single point of contact for volunteer email or phone call communications.
- Commuicate by phone with local and statewide veteran organizations to develop partnerships and/or obtain more volunteers/advocates for three upcoming SW SuitUP^ events.
- Email message managment of incoming inquiries.
Work Environment:
This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers (PC Desktop/Word/Excel), email, cell phone. Expected hours of work are flexible. Requesting 3hrs per week starting Oct 1, 2019 through Dec 11, 2019.

Suiting Warriors (SW) provides transitioning assistance to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, Veterans, their spouses, Guard and Reserve by providing them with wardrobe consulting and upscale professional attire needed to compete in the civilian workforce.
Description
Suiting Warriors is a boutique traveling suiting service providing upscale professional attire, wardrobe consulting, and personal styling education to transitioning service members, veterans, and their spouses on the path to a new career. Our SuitUP^ Program reaches those who are preparing for job fairs, interviews, networking events, daily career wear and formal attire. During SuitUP^ Engagements, SW Volunteer Stylists provide professional attire and assistance for individual fit and style. SW also provides fee-based conversational image consulting presentation for veteran career and/or educational events and classes. SW travels through the east coast states from New Jersey to North Carolina with bases in Wilmington, Delaware and Leland, North Carolina.
By guiding veterans career wear choices and establishing a professional appearance, we are fulfilling the Suiting Warriors vision to enhance the quality of life of Veterans, by helping to create a seamless transition from the military into gainful employment in the civilian workforce. The SW service and guidance, fuels Veterans confidence and decision making process for career advancement and continuing education.
SW is always looking for new energy and educated business-minded individuals to join the Board of Directors.
