Tanganyika's Counselor in Training program gives teen volunteers the unique opportunity to build their resume, develop crucial skills, and spend time with some of the world's most rare and endangered animals.

Counselors in Training are scheduled for 70 hours of volunteer service over the course of the summer. This service is split between assisting our summer camp instructors, facilitating guest encounters at Interpretive demonstration stations, and facilitating guest encounters with our education animals.

CITs must be between the ages of 14 and 18 as of June 1st, 2020. An application and interview process is required and applications are due by March 13th. Contact us TODAY for more information!
