If you are organized and passionate about serving with an organization that makes a difference in our community, we have the perfect opportunity! We are a fast-growing non-profit organization that is in need of someone to help with administrative tasks in a timely fashion. Some of them include:

  • Following up with inquiries from perspective volunteers and community partners
  • Entering data from surveys, program evaluations, and other forms
  • Running reports from established systems
  • Entering contact information and creating online newsletters
  • Being the initial "face" of The Hope Zone when making phone calls to schedule appointments with community leaders, perspective collaborators, and venues.
  • Calling venues to schedule space for our programs to run out of
  • Sending marketing information as requests come in
  • Supporting the Executive Director
  • Creating documents for various meetings (volunteer orientations, marketing flyers of upcoming programs, etc.)
  • Contacting local papers to advertise upcoming programs

Requirements of this position:

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Be able to create professionally-worded emails and communication in a way that represents our mission and builds trust in the community
  • Be willing to learn SalesForce (data entry only) if not currently familiar
  • Be able to think ahead and work independently once familiar with the job
  • Love to have fun and be part of a team

This position can be done at home for the most part. It would require meeting with the Executive Director once a week either face-to-face or via GoToMeeting.
