Can I Raise A Man community forum and panel's mission is to support single mothers of sons, in the retrieval of essential information and resources that assists them in raising powerful, productive, and successful men.

Our panel discussion's open forum covers relevant topics chosen to tackle tough issues regarding raising males in America today. We will have 7 panelists and audience experts consisting of men raised by single moms & current single moms, a host, and a moderator. The event will allow social media incoming questions.

We are in search of event volunteers, as well as any others that are great in marketing and administrative duties leading up to the event.


Project Management Assistant: Handles interoffice information, and contact with panel guests. Must be proficient in administrative clerical, customer service, and data entry.

Hostess: Greet and Intake of audience, show them to seats. Must have smiling, friendly, face. Customer Service Oriented.

Set Up & Break Down: Responsible for event set up, and closing break down. Helpful in cleaning.

Bag Stuffing: Place in-kind donations, and other items in audience giveaway bags.

Panel Relations: Tend to the needs of the panel guests.

Backstage Management: Que the hosts, assists with timing, and coordinates with the moderator. Ensure everything backstage is set and working properly.

Runners: Retrieve any last minute items from store, vendors, etc. Needed the day of event.

Marketing Assistants: Provides support in the marketing campaign of the event. Post flyers, contact media, radio personnel.

We work to demolish homelessness, retract fatherless families, diminish child abuse, retract poverty and offer support to families with household that have any area of lack and emotional deficiency.

Description

Purposeful Parents is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 2012 by Krystal Sias. A personal journey of single parenting as a teenager was the foundation for the organization that was created to provide supportive services and resources for parents with emphasis on single parents ages 16 & up. The organization has a core curriculum that was built solely to assist mothers find purpose, strength, and help give them empowerment, which places them on the path to a better life. We provide fundamentals necessary to raise powerful children. Trying to break the cycle of teenage pregnancy, incarceration, and violence among youth, the organization places its focus on both strengthening and empowering the mother, while helping to create a better foundation while raising her children. Purposeful Parents, Inc. also partners with other organizations to care for the community, by volunteering in nursing homes, assisting the homeless, the elderly, and other various projects. Building a stronger community, empowering individuals to be self-sustainable, revitalized, and unified is the goal. "Iron Sharpens Iron," and Purposeful Parents intends on helping every individual it touches be purposeful, "Because parents with purpose produce powerful children!"
