Share the power of music with our community!
Music has numerous benefits for people with dementia. It helps in the recall of emotions and memories, boosts brain activity, inspires positive changes in mood, stimulates positive interaction, and aids in stress management.
Seeking caring individuals or groups who play an instrument and/or sing, to participate in a music therapy session.
All ages welcome!
Average group size of residents is between 20-30.

Description
Five Dimensions of Wellness and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs is the foundation of the program. Dimensions are: -Emotional- encourages the management of feelings about life situations -Intellectual- encourages creative, stimulating mental activities -Physical- encourages cardiovascular flexibility, strength and regular exercise -Social- encourages the interdependence with others and nature -Spiritual- encourages seeking meaning and purpose in human existence
