The Denver Ready for 100 Campaign is looking for volunteer leaders excited to support the movement to 100% renewable energy for the City and County of Denver and beyond! Join the frontlines to fight climate change, create local jobs, and clean our air and water by supporting educational outreach across the metro area. Our goal is to achieve an equitable transition so all can enjoy the benefits of a clean energy future.
As a Petition Captain, you are tasked with collecting 50 petitions from constituents and businesses asking for Mayor Hancock's leadership per month from now until the summer. Through a network of existing leaders and those you talk with, recruit others to help you reach your 200 goal!
Our goal is to secure Mayor Hancock's leadership for renewable energy when the city completes their investigation into their ability to achieve 100% renewable electricity this summer. This investigation is part of their commitment to reduce 80% of their greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
