The Friends of the Wellesley Council on Aging seeks a volunteer skilled at website design/ development and who is able to provide ongoing maintenance. The volunteer would first meet representatives of the Friends group for an overview of their work and to gain an understanding of their web-based needs. The work can then be done remotely. Preference will be given to a volunteer who resides in Eastern Massachusetts.
The Friends of Wellesley Council on Aging is a registered 501(c) (3) non-profit charitable organization and was established to help create a vibrant aging experience by raising funds to support the Council on Aging and the 5500+ Wellesley Citizens age 60 and over. The Friends Organization is staffed by volunteers, eliminating administrative costs, assuring all funds raised serve the needs of the COA.

The Wellesley Council on Aging offers many programs and services for individuals over age 60. Volunteers are a key component to our success and we are always looking to grow our pool of volunteers.
