The custodial volunteer position is great for anyone looking to transition back into the workforce and gain a positive referral and support system while job searching. The custodial volunteer is responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance, and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that our building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner.
We are looking for a commitment of six-months. This is a part-time unpaid volunteer position that supports the Lancaster Public Library’s maintenance and cleaning efforts.
Duties include: Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, washing tables, windows, and doors; cleaning up the courtyard and sidewalk; landscaping, and other tasks necessary to keep the library a clean and inviting place for the public.
Experience and Training: Must be able to perform above listed services and have the ability to work independently
Qualifications: Ability and willingness to perform physical work
