Mission: Hopecam is a 501c3 charitable organization with the mission of using technology to overcome the social isolation of children in treatment for cancer. Recognizing the critical need for socialization with their friends and classmates, Hopecam seeks to bridge the lonely divide between homebound or hospitalized children and their friends at school using tablets, web cameras, and Skype.

Position Description:

Hopecam is looking for a fundraising volunteer to join our team. This is an opportunity to develop your fundraising while working on projects that will help you gain professional development experience. Job responsibilities include help manage the logistics and planning of our annual 5K; soliciting for in-kind donations for the race and helping out in anyway needed leading up to and the day of the race. This job requires a volunteer to commit 6-10 hour a week leading up to the race date of May 7th. Some of the work can be done from home but we would need you in the office at least once a week during business hours.
