prom

Help a deserving young girl have the prom of her dreams! Our annual Fairy Tale Closet event helps those who would not otherwise be able to afford to go to prom receive a free dress and accessories.

Groups or individuals are encouraged to help us set up the Fairy Tale on Friday, March 9th.

On March 10, Fairy Godmothers will help girls with their perfect dress by helping them select, steam try on their dress by acting as a personal shopper. Fairy Godmothers will guide girls to dresses that are the correct size, flattering and similar to their taste. Fairy Godmothers will also help girls select shoes and accessories. Fairy Godmothers with sewing skills are in high demand. We are looking for folks that can mend (light alterations such as fixing snags, beads straps, etc) a girl's dream prom dress. Please bring your sewing supplies! We also encourage anyone who would like to do hair or makeup demonstrations to participate. Two shifts are available: 9:30am-1:30pm or 1:30pm-5:30pm.

Groups or individuals are encouraged to help us disassemble the closet on Tuesday, March 13th.
