Did you know that Ronald McDonald House has a House inside Children's Minneapolis? In addition to our standalone house near the University of Minnesota, we have a house inside the hospital!

Join us for Cooks for Kids at the House inside the Hospital! Groups plan, purchase, and prepare a meal for the families who visit our house while their child is receiving critial care. Provide a warm meal and a friendly face!

This is a great team building opportunity, cook a meal together in our fully equipped kitchen and serve to our families who are going through a stressful time.

Help us fill our calendar! We have some remaining dates in February and we would love to fill these with your group!

Mission Statement

We, in partnership with our community, provide a comfortable and caring home-away-from-home that supports keeping families together and reduces stress during a child’s serious illness.

Description

We provide a warm and welcoming community of support and respite for families with seriously-ill or injured children. Across our five locations, we welcome 76 families each night for overnight services, as well as hundreds of day-visitors. Services include:

  • Lodging
  • Meals
  • Kitchen access and fully-stocked pantries
  • Laundry facilities
  • An accredited K-12 school
  • Workout facilities
  • Supportive, family-focused programming

We take care of all these things so families can focus on the well-being of their child.
