Although we do not experience winter temperatures here in Texas, our hospice patients are often in facilities which are a little chilly. We are looking for donations such as blankets, lap blankets, socks or anything that would keep our patients comfy and warm. All donations can be dropped off at our office located at 13152 Sugar Park Ln., 2nd Floor, Sugar Land, TX 77478 anytime M-F 8-5. If students need volunteer hours, I will be glad to provide a certificate of appreciation for the total hours that were spent collecting the donated items and the travel time to bring them to the office. Teddy bears or small stuffed animals are also welcome. Thanks and many blessings. If you require further information, please feel free to email me at kkeefer@altushospicecare.com or my cell number is (347)813-2151 anytime. Kim Keefer/Volunteer Coordinator
