ORGANIZATION: OCSP Cat Rescue

Our group needs a cat loving person to volunteer for kennel manager in Huntington Beach!
Our kennel manager volunteer duties include communicating with the daily kennel volunteers who are responsible for cleaning and socializing our adoptable cats that reside in the Petco store. Communicating with them via text is most efficient and this way you can find out if supplies are in need of refilling, bedding needs laundering, or more importantly if a cat is not feeling well and needs a visit to the vet. Our kennel manager is also a liaison between Petco management and the rescue. Communication between people is very important for this volunteer position so if you are comfortable with interpersonal communication you would be a great fit.
The kennel manager may need to fill in for a kennel cleaner at times. The kennel only holds four cats and is simple to maintain. Bending and squatting is necessary to access the bottom two kennels.

We would love to get a volunteer that can start as soon as possible.
