Are you looking to be the champions of the next leadership generation? In Girl Scouts we champion the girl. Our volunteer based organization is looking for those adults who are wanting to engage with the youth of today to guide them into to the leaders of tomorrow.
This can be a multi-volunteer role. The only requirements are you must register as a Girl Scout, pass a volunteer application and background review and be able to follow the details below. So grab a few friends and let's get started!
The Leadership Team:
01 - Leader - this person is the detail oriented, loves paperwork, double checks the rules type person.
02 - Co-Leader - shares responisbilty with the leader and assists when possible from program planning to financial matters.
03 - Troop Support - Troop Treasurer handling the financial reports for the troop; Product Sale Chair taking training and being responsible for all troop product sale information
Working together this leadership team provides the base for a Girl Scout troop. Leadership Teams decide the meeting times and location based on their schedules. Meet once a month, twice a month or weekly. The choice is yours!
Once a month leadership teams gather with other leadership teams to get updates from the Council and around the community. At least one leadership team member has to attend this meeting.
