The Detroit Distribution Center Volunteer Coordinator, is looking for office volunteers to help during the week. She is looking for volunteers to come in Tuesdays-Saturdays between the hours of 8am-2:30pm. She is looking for help for 2-4 hours per week. She is really flexible. The work she needs done is data entry, calendar work and general office duties (phone calls and emails).
We are hoping for a volunteer to make at least a 6 week commitment.

For more than 40 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has been "feeding hungry people and nourishing our communities." Last year, Gleaners distributed 42 million pounds of emergency food to 499 partner soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, and Monroe counties.
Of every dollar donated, Gleaners uses 97 cents for food and food programs. One dollar provides three meals for a hungry neighbor.
