About

Looking for those Cookie CEO's to help organize our annual Cookie Sale Program each year. Won't you help us ROCK the Girl Scout Cookie Program Sale? You would be working together with the Service Area Team to ensure the best year ever!

This can be a multi-volunteer role. The only requirements are you must register as a Girl Scout, pass a volunteer application and background review and be able to follow the details below.

You must be detailed oriented and have access to either a desktop computer or a laptop and internet access.

Late July/Early August - attend council training on Product Sales (Macon)

September/October - Make sure participating troops have a Cookie Mom for their troop

November/December - Make sure participating troops have completed online training and turned in any council forms. Start monitoring Facebook Groups for Early Sellers.

January - Work to locate Service Area Cookie booth locations for troop in the community. Partner with businesses to allow troops to set up cookie booths on the weekends. Review troop initial orders to ensure incentives are placed, mistakes are caught and submit orders. Late January work to confirm cookie delivery site and date.

February - Train new parents on cookie booth etiquette. Be at cookie delivery to ensure cookies are not damaged and troops receive correct amounts based on orders. Be available to place additional cookie orders and receive those orders. Remind troops about deadlines and work to help troops with cookie sales and problems.

March - Finish up Cookie Sale, help troops submit final paperwork, receive incentives for troops and distribute, follow up on any delinquent paperwork if necessary.

May - Follow up with troops who have not received incentives and work with Membership Manager to get incentives to girls if troop leadership is not able to do so.

June - Meet with Service Team to plan next year's schedule and review any issues that may be lingering from Cookie Program Sale.
