The Care Teams provide practical and emotional support, such as running errands, transportation to medical appointments, light housekeeping, and companionship. Each volunteer is asked for four hours a month. There is a 3 hour Volunteer Training to discuss the Care Team model, boundaries, confidentiality, etc.

Each interested person is asked to fill out an initial application and then have a brief phone interview before the training.
