This is a commuity event for working in and connecting with our neighborhood woods and each other. Volunteers will work side-by-side, to dig out blackberry; pull out ivy; plant young native plants like swordfern, snowberry, and cedar trees; and mulch around young plants.
All ages, cultures, and abilities are welcome, though the location includes stairs and walking on gravel trails. Children are invited to work alongside their adults, or play in the forest, work on crafts, or go on a scavenger hunt.
Hot beverages provided, but bring your own water bottle and wear closed-toes shoes that can get muddy.
