All we need is your smile and extra pair of hands to serve pre-cooked lunch and help us clean up afterwards! We typically have between 10 and 20 participants. We would also love for you to join us for lunch and get to know our wonderful adults, some of whom are younger adults with developmental and acquired cognitive and/or physical disabilities and some of whom are seniors. We even have two participants who are over 100 years old!
Duties mostly involve helping us plate food and clean up, and may include:
- picking up the food cart from the kitchen next door and walking it to our kitchen
- moving the serving trays to the steam table
- washing the dishes and serving utensils, cleaning the counters and steam table
- washing the trays and lunch tables
- serving and plating pre-cooked food
- returning the food trays to the cart and returning the cart to the main kitchen
- other kitchen clean up duties
