Our volunteers will be working at West Berkeley Family Practice, a community health clinic within the Lifelong Medical Care system. Volunteers would help with a wide variety of tasks, like picking up and distributing food for produce giveaways, creating flyers and calendars, assisting in patient groups (including with kids), and reaching out to patients over the phone (i.e. appointment scheduling and reminders, providing information for annual or necessary tests). Starting dates and hours can be flexible if necessary, and age is of minor importance as long as the volunteer can commit to the work. This position is great for people looking to gain experience in a healthcare setting, or who simply want to be of service to their community!

LifeLong Medical Care offers a sliding scale for low income patients based on family size and income. No Patient is denied health care services based on inability to pay.
