The Minneapolis Park Board track and field program starts mid-May and ends in late June. Track meet helpers are needed to help at the Thursday night track meets. Volunteers will help time running events and measure jumps and throws. No experience is necessary. Park staff will train and work with volunteers. Field events include: high jump, long jump, shot put/softball throw, and turbo javelin. Races include: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1600m.

This is a great opportunity to volunteer with a friend or 2. We can also pair individuals with similar interests.
