Hospice Volunteers needed in Salinas and North Monterey.
Come join our amazing team as we expand, and apply for our next Spring Volunteer training (by zoom).
Excellent training and support as you volunteer with our patients and families either at their home or in facilities.
We are a non-profit community based hospice.
Volunteer Visitors offer support to people facing the end of life. They are understanding listeners who provide companionship, and sometimes make it possible for a caregiver to take a few hours of needed break.
We are looking for bilingual volunteers, massage therapists, pet companion visitors and veterans wanting to serve other military veterans.
There will be a Pet Evaluation Day prior to that for interested pet visitors.
Please call me or email me to apply.
Or let me know you are interested through volunteer match. Thank you so much!
How can I apply?
Interested volunteers contact Forbes Ellis, Director of Volunteer Services, at 831-430-3045.
Or email: fellis@hospicesantacruz.org
