SafeMinds logo

SafeMinds is looking for active and engaged individuals interested in joining one of our four working committees (Advocacy, Education and Outreach, Research, and Fundraising), and our board of directors.

We are a national, 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization focused on ending the autism epidemic by promoting environmental research and effective treatments. Parents started SafeMinds, so we maintain a strong family voice and a sense of urgency in everything we do. We proactively network and collaborate with high-risk/high-reward scientists, clinicians, policy makers, and organizations who are dissatisfied with the failures of the status quo, and lack of progress in helping people with autism to be safer, healthier, and more independent.

Description

SafeMinds is a national 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to end the autism epidemic by promoting environmental research and effective treatments. We refuse to accept the paradigm of an unchecked epidemic and widespread suffering.

Most of our work is carried out through the volunteer efforts of our board and committee members, and we operate with a small paid staff so most of our dollars can go to programs.
