About Denton County Friends of the Family
Denton County Friends of the Family, DCFOF, is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive services to those impacted by rape, sexual abuse, and domestic violence, while partnering with our community to promote safety, healing, and prevention.

About the Position
The Graphic Design Intern should have an eye for detail and a creative flare. They will be responsible for creating print and digital materials for Denton County Friends of the Family while adhering to brand guidelines. Design elements will includes items for events, social media, newsletter, brochures and other related design needs.
Responsibilities:
* Works with the marketing and development team on projects to help with branding, strategic goals and other marketing efforts
* Assists with website design and other online design elements
* Skilled in typography, color theory, layout optimization
* Is experienced in Illustrator and other design software tools
* Can provide samples of work

Description
Denton County Friends of the Family, Inc. provides emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis hotline, support and counseling for women, men, and children who have been victims of domestic violence or sexual assault. There is no charge for victim services. Denton County Friends of the Family, Inc. also provide Violence Intervention and Prevention groups for individuals who have behaved violently or abusively toward a partner. Other services include child and adolescent counseling, parenting, and family support services.
