The Art Center is need of Teacher Assistants to aide our art instructors at Summer Camp. Teacher Assistants help with supplies, art projects, supervising the children and with set up and clean up. The camp is divided into two groups, the Creative Kids (ages 6-10) and the Emerging Artists (ages 11-15) with each group having no more than 20 or 16 kids respectively. The hours are weekly from 8:15am-3:00pm. You must enjoy working with children and enjoy art. Proficiency in art is not a requirement. We also have After Care hours available from 3:00pm-5:00pm. The Teen Volunteer program is meant to support older teens completing their volunteer hours required for school. Must be at least 15 years old.

We proudly present master workshops instructed by world renowned artists and classes taught by professional local artists. Our exhibitions feature fine art from local, national, and international artists. We have four galleries which showcase a variety of themes. Our outreach programs have a tremendous effect on the youth and elderly citizens of Sarasota. We provide a destination for kids and teens to learn about fine art and the fundamentals of painting, ceramics, sculpture, and textiles.
