Calling Sales and Marketing Students/Professionals/Retirees!
Oklahoma Blood Institute is looking for community-minded individuals with strong people skills to help us advocate our blood program to small businesses. The advocate will help businesses sponsor and coordinate blood drives for their employees and customers at our community blood donation center.
This is a great opportunity for a retired professional to contribute to the community. Also, it is a great opportunity for a marketing or business student to gain some valuable experience. All training and promotional materials are provided.
It takes more than blood to keep our blood supply healthy and adequate, it takes volunteers like you!
Description of Project: Target small businesses close to blood donation centers that are willing to host in-center blood drives. Participate in a range of public relations, marketing, and community relations tasks including social media. Coordinate in-center blood drives with dates and appointments with donor staff and contact center.
Qualifications: Community involvement, Sales. Marketing experience or degree, Reliable transportation, Valid driver's license, Skilled in Microsoft Office, Use social media with ease.
