We are looking to add valuable talent to our existing Board. NKT is in the infant stages of board development for our organization and are interested in bringing on professionals to help steer us in the right direction to ensure another successful 30 years in the Quad Cities!
The Board generally meets on the second Tuesday of the month. Their job is to ensure the financial health of the program, community awareness, and quality assurance. Members serve on committees that best suit their talents and interests including: Fund Raising & Community Relations, Finance, Personnel, Nominating, and various ad hoc committees.
New Kingdom Trailriders is a mission-driven organization offering equine-assisted therapeutic riding programs to disabled individuals in and around the Quad City area and surrounding communities. 2010 marks our 26th anniversary. Volunteers primarily operate our organization. Funding support is through donors, fundraising and grants.
We invite potential interested Board Members to attend a monthly board meeting to introduce yourself. Board Member applications are available via email. Please contact Angie Nelson at (309) 764-4220 for more detailed information.
