Volunteers will commit to 2hours of weekly programming between January 16 th (or as soon as possible) - April 24 th. During this time, they will choose a theme, conduct activities related to the topic, and develop a plan to connect with the community in order to make the world a better place. The themes can relate to social skills, environmental education, business and technology etiquette, and others. It is our goal to work together to create a hands-on, enriching experience to teach skills the girls can use for years to come.
This position is ideal for individuals looking to make a positive impact in the lives of today’s young adults. All backgrounds and specialties are welcomed since this group offers the chance for you to share your skills and knowledge in areas you are familiar with. Description
In schools and neighborhoods across Nebraska-from inner cities to rural communities-we are here to meet the needs of today’s girls.
Girl Scouts do amazing things. Our programs offer a wide array of activities that encourage girls to discover their full potential and to have fun at the same time.
Positive outcomes happen when caring and committed adults, volunteers like YOU, provide an environment where girls can explore their creativity and individuality. Girl Scouts helps girls define who they are and their place in the world around them.
