The NWCM Volunteer eBay Assistant will assist the NAWCC Auction Coordinator in the research of objects that have been donated for the purpose of being sold for the benefit of the National Watch & Clock Museum. The Volunteer eBay Assistant will also work with the NAWCC Auction Coordinator with the listing of items online.

Key Responsibilities and Duties: Research of objects using the NAWCC Library on our campus and online research. List products on auction forums. Keep a running record of each item listed. Any other duty will be discussed with Auction Coordinator.

Qualifications: Moderate computer skills with the ability to examine an object and write a detailed description of that item. Pleasant manner, detail- oriented, problem-solving ability and dependability.

Time Commitment Expected: One day a week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday), two month minimum. Hours can be discussed with Auction Coordinator.

Training: Training for this position will be provided.

Dress Code: Casual

Focusing on the study of time, the preservation of timepieces and their intimate relationship to all human activity. The museum collection includes more than 14,000 timepieces ranging from sundials to atomic clocks.
