Volunteer with the Fresh Savings program at the Rutherford County Farmers Market!
Fresh Savings is a SNAP (formerly known as Food Stamps) doubling program for fresh fruits and vegetables at select farmers markets throughout Tennessee.
Volunteers are needed to greet SNAP customers, explain how the program works, and complete transations using an EBT card reader. Training will be provided.
The market is open Tuesdays and Fridays, 7am-12pm, May through October. We are looking for welcoming volunteers who are interested in working at least one shift a month.
