Come out to our Superhero Run and use your volunteering superpowers for good! We are looking for motivated volunteers to assist us with our 4th Annual Superhero Run. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Court Appointed Special Advocate program of Maricopa County which provides an advocate and a voice to vulnerable and neglected children in state/foster care.
We have various roles and time slots available from setting up to tear down, handing out water, registering runners and much more.
We welcome volunteers 13 years of age and older. Younger volunteers must have an adult present. Groups are welcome as well.
Help us make our run a success!

Description
The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) is:
a specially trained citizen-volunteer that advocates for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the courtroom and within the community.
They are appointed by the juvenile court judge and work alongside case managers, providers and the foster care system.
Advocates are empowered by the court and make critical recommendations to the judge.
The CASA will remain with the child until they are placed in a safe, permanent and loving home.
Voices for CASA Children (Voices) is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to supporting advocacy for abused and neglected children in Maricopa County. Voices raises funds and provides resources to enable CASA of Maricopa County to recruit, train and support a larger volunteer force of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) who bring a consistent presence and a voice to these children.
