The Volunteer in this position will work out of the Visitor Center working mostly on Friday, Saturday & Sundays facilitating Park Programing.

* Lead nature hikes and Jr. Ranger program

* Help at Visitor Center answering visitors' questions & office tasks

* Assist with special programs such as Movie night, Line Dance lessons or outside speakers on Saturday nights

* Work on the plant ID table, possibly working on program flyers and posting them around the park

This is what the park has done in the past, but I am mostly looking for someone who is interested in interacting with the public, developing his or her own ideas, developing and working with a weekly schedule and a general flexibility to accommodate whatever comes our way at the park.

Campsite accommodations available for this position. 30 & 50-amp service, picnic tables, sewage & water on your site, a shared shed with wireless Wi-Fi, shared freezer and fridge space, washer and dryer.
