BP MS 150 Medical Support Team

Share your skills and put that certification to good use, become part of our Medical Support Team!

  • Overview: Provide medical support at the breakpoints along the route, La Grange overnight, and the finish line in Austin.
    Event Dates: April 29 - April 30, 2017
    Requirements:
  • Hold an active Medical Certification (i.e. MD/DO, PA, NP, RN, LVN, EMT-LP, EMT-P, AEMT, EMT-I, EMT-B, ECA, CPR/FIRST AID, CPR, etc.)
  • Commit to at least one full day of volunteer service during ride weekend.

The BP MS 150 is a two-day fundraising cycling ride organized by The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The ride is the largest event of its kind in North America. In 2015, the event raised more than $20 million for multiple sclerosis research and programs.

Approximately 13,000 cyclists participate and fundraise i each year to help make the world free of multiple sclerosis. The funds raised support vital services, programs and MS research for affected by MS.

The South Central Region, headquartered in Houston, TX is made up of five states: Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, and New Mexico.

Seeking out and engaging volunteers to join the movement is at the very core of our organization.

We engage volunteers at every level. Join an event committee, volunteer at a walk or bike event, advocate at the capitol, volunteer at our office, no matter how you choose to contribute, you are doing something about MS now!

The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.

We are always looking for volunteers who want to share their time and talent to help stop MS!
