CIELO is currently offering multiple volunteer opportunities for individuals (and groups) who share the same interest in our Mission & Vision of helping the community of Orange County residents with entrepreneurship and workforce development.

Information and overview of CIELO
CIELO was born out of a need to develop initiatives that set up local residents for financial prosperity. The Community for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Opportunities (CIELO), was founded by a collaboration between Oak View Renewal Partnership (OVRP) and Golden West Community College. At its core, OVRP cultivates relationships between community partners and residents; and, OVRP facilitates and incubates projects until they become self-sustaining. And, CIELO is the most recent project to be incubated. What began as a vision to create economic impact in the one-square mile community of Oak View in Huntington Beach, CA, today stands as an example of creative minds and dedicated leaders coming together to develop economic solutions that impact our region.
MISSION STATEMENT How can you encourage someone to shoot for the sky? Someone with big ideas, but little support? Someone from an underserved community, doing their best to get by? At CIELO, we believe it takes resources, expert advice, and commitment to helping these individuals see success. Because when an ambitious few are empowered, they propel their entire community towards uplifting change.
VISION STATEMENT Can you see it? An entire community coming together, rising above their current circumstances, shaking off the burdens of underdevelopment and underemployment. That’s what we see. At CIELO, we’re empowering change from the ground up, creating positive change both today, and for generations to come.

Our Mission is to launch successful entrepreneurs by unleashing innovation creativity & passion.
Description
CIELO surrounds entrepreneurs with a network that cultivates ideas and promising ventures. By surrounding visionaries with a community of entrepreneurial experts dedicated to helping cultivate the skills and creativity of individuals, CIELO empowers our area’s visionaries to build solid, successful business ventures.
Through one-on-one coaching, mentoring and training, CIELO takes entrepreneurs through the process of developing their business idea, gaining the entrepreneurial skills to succeed, and surrounding them with tools and resources to build solid business foundations from which to grow. CIELO strategically invests in local ventures that will bring innovation and economic growth to the region.
Entrepreneurs are put on a path of financial health by guiding them through cash-flow analysis, profit/loss projections, set up of accounting processes, and once financial steps are complete entrepreneurs become eligible for start-up funds, business grants and investments funds for their venture.
CIELO’s community of experts also includes financial wizards that strengthen existing entrepreneurs to be "investment worthy" so they can secure larger funding and investment to grow their venture.
At the epicenter is a partnership between CIELO and Golden West College dedicated to transforming dreams into reality, and generating economic impact for the individual and greater community.ideas into reality.
