Did you know that Ronald McDonald House has a one room schoolhouse? Kids undergoing treatment at area hospitals and their siblings can keep up with their schoolwork with our certified teacher!

We are looking for a small group (6 volunteers or fewer) to come read with our school kids during the school day. Book Club is the second Wednesday of every month at lunch time and we are looking for a group for February 8th! Groups read, share a pizza lunch, and stay for recess! Sounds like fun, right??!! What's more fun than books, pizza, and recess??

We, in partnership with our community, provide a comfortable and caring home-away-from-home that supports keeping families together and reduces stress during a child’s serious illness.

Description

We provide a warm and welcoming community of support and respite for families with seriously-ill or injured children. Across our five locations, we welcome 76 families each night for overnight services, as well as hundreds of day-visitors. Services include:

  • Lodging
  • Meals
  • Kitchen access and fully-stocked pantries
  • Laundry facilities
  • An accredited K-12 school
  • Workout facilities
  • Supportive, family-focused programming

We take care of all these things so families can focus on the well-being of their child.
