We are seeking business leaders to help in our search for volunteers!
Do you have community connections? We need volunteers willing to reach out to area businesses to display flyers, organize speaking engagements and promote Heartland Hospice.
We would love to partner with local businesses to get our message out. The more we are able to promote our volunteer needs, the more we can serve our hospice patients.
Volunteers on our team participate in a variety of duties:
- Offer companionship and support to our patients and their family members
- Share musical talents with patients, do crafts together, watch sports games, or simply provide company and conversation
- Join our Veteran Volunteer program and work with veterans and their families
- Join our Vigil team so that we can fulfil our value that 'no one should die alone.’
- Provide assistance with clerical duties and special projects within our office
Contact Tonya at tonya.eisenhauer@hcr-manorcare.com or 817-849-8880 so we can discuss this opportunity.
