Girl Scout Cookie Mega Drop

For local Girl Scouts, cookie season is one of the most exciting times of the year! Between January and March every year, budding entrepreneurs learn financial literacy skills and build confidence through this iconic program, while customers enjoy this once-a-year treat.

But first we need to get the cookies out to the troops!

The "Girl Scout Cookie Mega Drop" is our annual event that brings the community together to move more than 85,000 cases of Girl Scout Cookies. I’d like to personally invite you and your organization to join in the fun and lend a hand at this community event.

Girl Scouts Heart of Central California’s Mega Drop 2017 will take place on February 18 in Sacramento and February 20 in Turlock, and we’d love to have you as part of our 300-person cookie crew. From loading cookies, directing traffic to counting cookie cases, there are plenty of ways you can help. No experience necessary!

I invite you to visit girlscoutshcc.org/megadrop to learn more and sign up to join in our cookie crew!

Mission Statement

Building girls of courage, confidence, and character that make the world a better place.

Description

Girl Scouts is the world’s most successful organization dedicated to creating girl leaders, with 3.2 million active members and more than 59 million alumnae. Since its founding in 1912, women have explored new fields of knowledge, learned valuable skills and developed strong core values through Girl Scouting. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.

At Girl Scouts, girls are going to have tons of fun, make new friends and go on fantastic new adventures. They’re also going to get the chance to do big things. Our program centers on something called the Girl Scout Leadership Experience-a collection of activities and experiences girls have as they earn badges, sell cookies, go on exciting trips, explore the outdoors, do Take Action projects that make a difference and more. The result? A lifetime of leadership!
