ICA Miami + Design District Family Day Sunday, February 12, 2017 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM
ICA Family Day will be taking place on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM. We are all in for a fun creative and festive day in Elastika, an event space within our building at 4040 NE 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33137! Feel free to dress casually, (t shirt and jeans are okay!). As mentioned in the advertisement for volunteering, refreshments will be provided, and parking reimbursement will be available. In terms of parking, please park in the Palm Court Parking garage, the entrance to Palm Court parking garage is on NE 38 street (between NE 2nd Ave and NE 1st Ave). Please arrive promptly at 10:00AM for orientation, distribution of duties and set-up. The Family Day event will take place from 1-3 PM in Palm Court. Those seeking community service hours will be eligible for 5.5 hours of service, you will receive a document stating this at the end of your shift. Your volunteer coordinator for the day will be Lisa Fernandez, the ICA Miami Head of Education and Outreach and Education Assistant, Alyssa Panganiban. During the event, volunteers will be helping out with check in, as well as hands on art making activities, or sensory experiences for children with attention issues.

This opportunity is open to volunteers of all ages; encouraged for high school students seeking community service hours.
