The spring session of Emmaus Explorers is an afterschool program that will be open to children ages 4 to 12 residing at the Emmaus Family Shelter and its scattered site apartments. Emmaus is currently recruiting qualified volunteers to assist in the after school program and in leading Emmaus Explorers programming. The eight-week program will meet three afternoons per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. This spring’s theme is "Social and Cultural Awareness through the Arts," so we will have special presentations and visitors each week representing different sectors of culture in the community. There will also be exciting family enrichment events throughout the spring as well as two family field trips.
