CoachArt Goes Virtual!

We’re using online tools to continue to offer free arts and athletics programming to families impacted by chronic illness and to give our community new opportunities to make a difference.

Right now there is a child who is impacted by chronic illness is hoping to learn MUSIC, ART, THEATER, COOKING OR CREATIVE WRITING from YOU. With just 1 hour a week, for 4 weeks, YOU can make a difference in that student's life by coaching them.

As part of our matching process with volunteers and students, we use the power of extracurricular activities such as the arts, as a source for the self expression and empowerment that our students need.

All matches are made in a 1-on-1 or group setting, and are tailored to fit your background as a volunteer, according to your activity interests, location, and time availability.

So whether through cooking, music or sports, dance or poetry (and everything in between), the opportunity is there for you to make a lasting impact today!

Description

CoachArt is a non-profit organization offering free lessons in the arts and athletics to children impacted by chronic illness, ages 5-18. Our vision is that one day every family impacted by chronic illness will be connected to a community of support and an opportunity to learn and grow together.

We partner with talented volunteers and arts/athletics programs to offer lessons in music, art, yoga, photography, dance, soccer - and more! Our CoachArt team matches each individual child with our volunteers and program partners, who provide 8 week lessons in a shared activity of choice.
