Since 2014, the Jovial Concepts Garden Program has been providing fresh, organic produce to hundreds of food insecure families in Edgewater, Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Denver, and Arvada. With nearly 75 neighborhood gardens to plant, maintain, and harvest, your help is needed more than ever!

Previous gardening experience isn't necessary, which makes this a great opportunity for volunteers of all ages to learn more about Colorado organic gardening practices, while benefiting the communities we serve. Weather permitting, we meet in Denver each Sunday at 9 a.m., and are in the gardens through 1 p.m. At the end of the day, please join us at our community partners, Joyride Brewery, for "Buy-One-Get-One" beer specials, available only to Jovial Gardens volunteers!

DETAILS:Sundays 9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. (With a break from 11 - 11:30)Co-Op on 1st5045 W. 1st Ave. Denver, CO 80219We recommend each volunteer bring the following:
  • Water bottle
  • Hat
  • Gloves
  • Sunglasses
  • Closed toe shoes
  • Clothing layers/rain jacket if need be
