What is Please Live?
Please Live is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to education and awareness of teen mental health issues, particularly depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention. Learn more about us at www.PleaseLive.org.

We are currently looking for an individual to moderate our Google+ profile. You will develop a strategy, working with the Marketing Director, in order to organically grow followers, update posts with relevant company and industry information, and connect with experts in our industry. You will frequently post content and refresh our company page, following our branding guidelines.

Estimated time commitment: < 30 minutes per week

Required Skills:
Must have access to webcam or other technology to allow for virtual meetings
Outstanding written communication skills
Proficient grammar skills consistent with proper English language
General web marketing experience

Desired Skills: (will consider volunteers who are willing to learn if skills are not currently present)
Blogging experience
Basic understanding of keyword research & selection
Google+ account with over 10 circles (Only used to verify web understanding)
Customer service experience in any industry
Basic understanding of SEO

  1. Educate students, youth staff, and community members about depression, suicide, and related mental health topics, signs & symptoms of mental illnesses, and where/how to seek help for mental health problems.
  2. Empower students to look for and be aware of mental illness symptoms in themselves and in their peers.
  3. Reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

Mission: to cultivate mental wellness through education and awareness of youth and young adult mental health challenges, focusing primarily on depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention.

Description

Please Live is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based out of central Pennsylvania that is dedicated to education and awareness of teen mental health issues, particularly depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention.

Please Live is a small nonprofit consisting of about 20 volunteers from all over the country. We are a young nonprofit in two ways: firstly, we received our 501(c)3 status in 2014. Secondly, our Board of Directors is made up of primarily adults in their 20's.
