Inspiring Minds, a 50-year-old educational non-profit, is searching for volunteers to helping a child succeed in school. Opportunities include in-school tutoring with students K through 5 th grade. Inspiring Minds will train you and find a match for you. Our programs are designed to provide students and volunteers with great opportunities to grow and learn.
We are currently in great need of volunteer tutors to assist students, at least once a week, in literacy or math in grades Kindergarten through 3 rd grade. Volunteers work in the classroom, with groups no larger than 4, practicing activities provided by the classroom teacher!
- -Submit to a background check
- -Attend our 2 hour volunteer orientation and training
- -Must be fluent in English
- -Commit to an hour (or more) a week for an entire semester
