We are looking for volunteers to help us break down tables and box up books left over after our book sale. Quite a few of our workers are older ladies that can't pick up boxes so we need some strong younger folks to help us out. This is a great way to get some community service hours and help out your library at the same time. Please let me know if you would be interested in helping out. Just show up at 2:30pm on Sunday, April 29th and ask for Linda Williams. Thank you for your help with this task.

The mission of the Friends of WFPL is to advocate for literacy and learning by expanding and fostering the availability of resources for the West Florida Public Library and other community initiatives.
Description
The Friends of WFPL is a non-profit 501(c)(3). The organization was founded in 1973, and is made up of volunteers whose primary purpose is to support the mission of the West Florida Public Library System and to help enhance its services to the community. Over the past 50 years, the Friends have raised more than $2 million to build new library locations and support children’s summer reading programs, adult learning and many other activities and events that create a stronger community.
