Code Platoon is a non-profit coding bootcamp that trains Veterans to become professional software developers in an intense 14-week, in person program in Chicago.
We are looking for someone with a background in technical recruiting, specifically with experience placing software developers, to help our students find opportunities in the Chicagoland area.

Code Platoon transforms veterans and military spouses into professional software developers through an immersive, hands-on, educational process and paid internship program.
Description
Code Platoon is a 501(c)3 non-profit that helps veterans and military spouses transition into the civilian workforce by providing technical training and career placement. For 15 weeks the students are immersed in learning the full web development stack, including Python (or Ruby), Django (or Rails), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. No previous programming skills are required. After completing the program the veteran or military spouse will be hirable as a junior full-stack web developer and eligible for an internship.
